Canada’s Musical Coast is a string of beautiful communities and majestic coastline vistas bound together by musical traditions. The music culture here is written into the story…the very fabric of the coastline. During harsh winters and trying times, music and dance were neither indulgence nor luxury, but rather survival. Music culture here is honest, authentic and shared directly from the heart- this is a coast shaped by music.
We are pleased to share these wonders of our place with you.
Watch the sun set into the Northumberland Strait before you head out to find some live music! With a wide variety of accommodations we've got you covered.
We don't mean to brag but we have to. From sunrise to sunset we have an abundance of "things to do" that will leave you wanting to catch tomorrow's sunset too!

Happy #TrailTuesday!daveyandsky here, and today we are on the Judique Flyer Trail section of the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail. 🎶🌿🌊With spectacular coastal views and a flat, easily accessible surface, we love exploring this 19km trail. 💙Stretching from Chisholm’s Brook, Long Point to Little Judique Harbour, it is the perfect place for multi-use activities like hiking, biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, four wheeling, snowmobiling, horseback riding or simply taking the dog for a walk! Yup, dog friendly! 🐶As part of the Trans Canada Trail, it is so neat to know you are walking on a trail that is connected to the rest of the country. Even cooler, is that it is one of only three trails on the TCT that features adjacent salt water fishing ports. Wow! 🙌Be immersed in culture as you travel and read interpretive panels that will tell the story of the view in front of you. Keep an eye out for the many forms of wildlife that call this area home. We’ve spotted lots of eagles, seals, otters, deer, and all kinds of other neat looking birds. 🦅We love seeing this trail change with the seasons and its beauty in winter is simply magical. ❄️ Let us know if you have any questions about this trail and we hope to see you out exploring it this winter! ☃️#MusicalCoast #Judique #CelticShoresCoastalTrail #VisitNovaScotia #VisitCapeBreton ...
