The Barn, an authentic Celtic music venue with superb acoustics, is located on the grounds of The Normaway Inn in Margaree Valley and features many of Cape Breton’s best fiddlers as well as emerging talents. Concerts usually run from late June to the latter part of October. Howie MacDonald and Beverly MacLean are featured on Friday nights this summer. Showtime is 8pm. Friday Night Traditional Square Dances (Family Dances and Adult Dances)

Enjoy a traditional square dance featuring some of Cape Breton Island's finest fiddle and piano players at the South West Margaree Hall in South West Margaree, Inverness County. Best of the East Coast (Margaree Edition) – Cape Breton Comedy Festival

Cape Breton Comedy Festival is bringing some of the best comics from Atlantic Canada, along side some of the best local comics from Cape Breton, to the Margaree Forks Firefighters Club on August 22.
