Charlo and Zabeth
Date: Wednesday, July 3 2024 to Wednesday, August 28 2024
Every Wednesday from 4pm to 8:30 pm, in July and August, Charlo and Zabeth invite you to Cap-Rouge for a nostalgic event reminiscent of the year 1935. This unique gathering at their home aims to recreate the atmosphere just before over 30 families were displaced from Le Cap-Rouge for the creation of the National Park. Guests can enjoy chatting, singing old Acadian songs and immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage of the area. Occasionally, a fiddler will join in to add to the musical ambience, and there will also be an extra guitar or two, spoons, and an extra fiddle available for visitors to play. Don’t miss this opportunity to step back in time and celebrate the vibrant history of Le Cap-Rouge!
