Sunday Walking Tours & Lobster Dinner
Date: Saturday, May 18 2024 to Sunday, August 25 2024
25th Anniversary Celebration 1999-2024: You can always celebrate Cape Breton music at the regular Sunday Ceilidhs from 2 pm – 5 pm (year-round).
For this Anniversary year CMIC has added a Walking Tour and a Lobster Dinner take-out. Join us at the Celtic Music Centre for a stroll to the Alexander Community Trail which loops by a pioneer cemetery, crosses a small brook and meets up with the famed Judique Flyer section of the Trans Canada Trail. It’s an afternoon delight as you cross the big trail and feel the ocean breezes. Relax on the seaside deck looking out at the waters of St. George’s Bay where lobster boats ride the crests during May and June. If you’ve pre-ordered the Lobster Dinners, pick them up at the Music Centre and enjoy a Cape Breton summer special. For more information visit the website and our Facebook page.
