Doug Fraser Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden
Doug invites you to visit his working gallery for a Conversation through Art. Enjoy a walk through his sculptural garden, a tremendous view of the ocean, and of course come into his gallery and see what he is working on. Doug paints in oil canvas and linen and has been working as a professional artist for 16 years. When not in the studio he is often out working the land creating natural sculptures. Creativity is a way of being for Doug. Born and raised into a family steeped in the Cape Breton Celtic traditions in Inverness, Doug Fraser is deeply connected to the land and spirit of this place. His pursuit is light, and his unique style enables him to create that ethereal perspective he has become so well known for in his landscape and seascapes. His studio is located on his family land where he resides with his wife and two children just five minutes from the Village of Inverness overlooking the Northumberland Strait.
