Cape Breton Causeway Inn
Opens: Saturday, January 1 until Saturday, January 1
The Cape Breton Causeway Inn is located in Port Hastings, just past the Canso Causeway at the entry point of Cape Breton Island. Make us your home away from home as you explore the island.
Enjoy a hike along the Ceilidh Coastal Trail, a 22-kilometer (12 mile) trek that follows an old railway bed up to Long Point. Discover Glenora Distillery in Glenville, Canada’s only distiller of single malt whisky, where you can take a tour of the distillery and ground and then enjoy lunch in the restaurant. Golf enthusiasts will find a couple of golf courses just a short 1-hour drive away, including Dundee Resort and Golf Club in Dundee or the Cabot Links in Inverness.
We offer 69 motel units with either double, queen or king-sized beds, a 4-piece bathroom, cable television with access to the movie channel, telephone, dataport, voicemail, iron and board, and in-room coffee and tea. Some of our rooms include a balcony with views of the Strait of Canso. Laundry facilities are available and small pets are welcome.
