The Inverness County Winter Active celebration provides opportunities for children, youth, and adults to participate in fun outdoor recreational activities that encourage a healthier, active living lifestyle. March 1st Make way to St. Margaret of Scotland Church in River Denys by snowmobile on Sunday, March 1st for the annual “Mass on the Mountain” at 2:00pm. Built in 1841, St. Margaret of Scotland Church in River Denys is the oldest standing building in Inverness County.
February 8th The Margaree Highlanders Snowmobile Club is celebrating their 31st Annual Snowmobile Rally and Dance on Saturday, February 8th Registration will take place at the Cranton Crossroads Community Centre, 206 Cranton Crossroads in Margaree Centre. Hot Turkey dinner is included with registration. Prizes and Trophies to be awarded. Dance is from 9-1pm at the Cranton Crossroads Community Centre.
